Frits Peeters

For years Frits Peeters lives in the heart of 's-Hertogenbosch, close to the Marketplace. There he hears the noise of building the stalls for the market in the morning. The clatter of steel and the popping sound of wooden planks. And trucks that drive down the street. The series 'City Noises' is about sounds associated with a city. His other series have a unique style with bright colors, industrial environments, extreme contrasts and turbulent scenes. Frits Peeters originates from Limburg and exhibits since the late eighties, especially in the southern regions of the Netherlands.
