Margriet Jansen

Margriet Jansen, born in Markelo, living in Apeldoorn as a child, leads an adventurous existence in the beautiful nature and around romantic castles in her living area: shrubs, underbrush, quiet ponds and places where no one comes, there she is. Many of her paintings are created using only acrylic paint, for a number of other she used mixed media: acrylic with charcoal in the basic form. The paintings mostly in transparent technique are created with just one single, impulsive put brush stroke, followed by countless other.
