Dinie Boogaart

She was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kampen, the Amsterdam "Rijks"Academy and the Academy of Harpenden Picture Arts Minerva in Groningen. Boogaart characterizes her style as expressive figuration. In addition, she mainly uses classical themes such as the nude, the portrait, the landscape and the still life. Because color and light-dark contrast are essential for Boogaart, she adds charcoal lines in glowing pastel works.
