Menno Baars is a Dutch cardiologist and artist. His work is characterized by a playful art figuration and abstraction with an aggressive writing. His work is often associated with the CoBrA artists Karel Appel and Corneille. He exhibits and manifests internationally with a "wild painting" live art performance. Since the Dutch television "Lola zoekt Brood" in 2011 Menno Baars is also active as a singer-songwriter
