Marianne Naerebout was educated on St. Joost in Breda. Her inspiration for color was developed after many years abroad, in Asia, Africa, USA and Europe. She paints themes of everything that lives with us, people, birds, fish and watersnakes in striking and recognizable colors. She creates paintings, acrylic, oil, silkscreen prints, wood objects, mirrors, ceramics and 3D sculptures. The commonearth, air and water signs are associated with pre Columbian symbolism of Indians.
