Jos Bolt is a fine art photographer based in Kortenhoef, The Netherlands. He is specialised in landscape and nature art photography in which impressionistic interpretation forms an integral part of his work. His introduction to photography goes back to his teenage years when he acquired a Yashica 635 camera and started shooting images of the agricultural landscape he was surrounded by. From mainly shooting in black and white and developing his images in a darkroom in the attic, to committing himself to digital photography and printing, his journey has taken him through commercial and portrait photography to his current work of fine art. Jos has travelled throughout Europe, to Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, however, his more recent photographic series cover areas closer to home, such as Ireland and the lake district south of Amsterdam.
